Horse Carts
Horse carts are another form of transportation in Dakar. The carts are used to carry all kinds of goods, from trash to water bottles to propane tanks to construction materials, etc. The carts travel in the middle of heavy traffic---or on sidewalks or in the medians of the streets!
One day it was interesting seeing a man who had an IPod in his ear while driving a horse cart! I'm sure he had a cell phone in his pocket!
