Don't sit on the chair!

When visiting the castles and manor houses in England, we have noticed that they have a good way of suggesting that guests not sit on the chairs. They take the prickly parts of this plant--the seedpods--- and place them in the seats of the chairs. (I don't know the name of the plant, but it is a common weed.)
So, if you are ever having company and you want to keep them off of the bed or the chairs, you will know what to do..........

That's funny! Did you see my blog about the antique chairs we just finished caning? Maybe I should weave a few briars in with the cane!

If I ever have a chair that I don't want company to sit in, make a doctor's appt for me!
