Mbeya , Part 3-----the Market

The daily market in Mbeya is larger and much more organized than the one on Saturdays in Chimala. In Mbeya there are some permanent structures. The first photos are of the area where food items are sold.

Lots of fabric is for sale.






Ready-made dresses are for sale.



There are many tailors at work.

Lauren would have enjoyed this part of your trip. She would like all the fruits for sale as well as getting to see the women sewing on those old machines. I will have to remember to show her these pictures.
