Mbeya, Part 2---Grocery stores, Restaurant

Cyndi does her grocery shopping in Mbeya every week when she and Bill make the trip there to buy medicine and supplies for the Chimala Hospital. There is no big Walmart or Kroger, etc.----only very small grocery stores whose merchandise varies from week to week. If Cyndi sees something she wants, she buys it that day, because next week it may be gone. She generally goes to two different stores. The first is Ndiyo, which is a little ways out of the main shopping area of Mbeya..

The next photos are taken inside of another grocery store in the downtown area.

The Apricourt Restaurant is in the downtown area. The people who work there are very friendly, and the food is safe to eat! We ate here both times that we were in Mbeya.

We enjoyed the drinks!

Ron is enjoying the food!

The food is steaming.

We really enjoyed the meal and the company both times we were at the restaurant.

I am probably glad that I did not see where the food was actually cooked!
