Shopping in Dar es Salaam

This is one of the shopping areas in Dar. It is made up of many small shops arranged around a square. The shop owners come to the doorways inviting, sometimes almost demanding, visitors to come inside to look and buy.



In the following photo, on the left, you will see two men from the Masaai tribe. One man is dressed in black and the other in blue.




The man below is selling coconuts.



Chris, Cyndi, and Muriel are in the following picture. Chris gets the job of carrying purchases wrapped in newspaper.
